The Bible

We believe that the Holy Bible, as originally written, is the verbally inspired, infallible, inerrant Word of God. We believe that God has providentially preserved His Word for us today, and it is therefore completely trustworthy. It is the final authority, for belief and practice, and is the supreme revelation of God's will for man.

2 Timothy 3:16-17  | 2 Peter 1:20-21  | Matthew 5:18  | 1 Corinthians 2:13

The Godhead

We believe in one indivisible God, manifesting Himself in three distinct persons namely, God The Father, God The Son, and God The Holy Spirit. These three are eternal, co-equal and co-existent in the Godhead with each possessing all of the attributes of deity.

Deuteronomy 6:4  | Matthew 28:19  | 1 Corinthians 8:6  | 2 Corinthians 13:14

God, The Father

We believe in God, the Father, and that He is the One that will hear and answer prayer: the One that will save, yet also the One that will judge those that reject the gift of His Son, Jesus.

Psalm 90:2  | Acts 17:29  | Ephesians 3:9  | Matthew 5:48  | John 1:12

God, The Son

We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, manifested in the flesh. Jesus is co-equal with the Father and the Holy Spirit and was born of a virgin, being conceived of the Holy Spirit. He is true God and true man.

John 8:58  | Isaiah 7:14  | Matthew 1:16-25  | Luke 1:26-38

We believe that Jesus died for us, taking upon Himself our sins, and the penalty thereof, and allowed His blood to be shed to make atonement for all sins.

Romans 3:25  | 1 Corinthians 15:3-4  | Hebrews 9:22

We believe that the death of Jesus Christ was literal, voluntary, vicarious, and necessary. His death was a ransom, a reconciliation, a propitiation, a substitution, and a proof of God's love.

John 10:17-18  | 1 Peter 3:18  | 1 John 2:2  | 1 Timothy 2:6  | 2 Corinthians 5:18-19  | Romans 3:25  | Romans 5:8

We believe in the literal, bodily resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ, and that He later bodily ascended unto God the Father.

Matthew 28  | Mark 16  | 1 Corinthians 15  | Romans 1:4  | John 20:19-31  |

Acts 1:9-11  | Hebrews 4:14-16

We believe in the return of our Lord Jesus Christ as was promised. First, He will return in the air for the "dead in Christ" (who will be resurrected bodily) and for those who are alive at His coming. This first return (called the Rapture) is pre-millennial and precedes a time of wrath upon this world.

1 Corinthians 15:51-58  | 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18  | 2 Thessalonians 2:3-8  |

Titus 2:11-15  | Revelation 3:9-19, 23

Secondly, Christ will return to the earth with His saints to set up His millennial kingdom.

Zechariah 14:9. | 2 Timothy 2:12  | Revelation 20:4-6

Mankind

We believe that man was originally created in the image of God, but that he by disobedience sinned and thereby incurred not only physical death but also spiritual death which is separation from God. All men are sinners both by nature and by choice.

Genesis 1:26-27  | Romans 5:12-14  | Ephesians 2:1-3  | Romans 3:9-19, 23

Salvation

We believe that salvation is by grace through faith, not of works. We are saved and justified when we recognize ourselves as sinners, repent of our sin, and trust in Jesus Christ as the Son of God, who died for us on the cross and rose again from the grave three days later, completing His work for our complete and eternal salvation.

John 1:12  | Romans 3:24  | Romans 4:5  | 1 Corinthians 15:3-4  | Ephesians 2:8-9

Eternal Security

We believe in the eternal security of the believer, having been sealed with the Holy Spirit of God.

John 3:16  | Philippians 1:6  | John 10:27-29  | Romans 8:38-39

The Church

We believe in the Church, which is the body of Christ. It is composed of all believers from Pentecost to the Rapture. It is united by the Holy Spirit with all members being baptized into one body of which Jesus Christ is the Head. The church is organized based upon the Word of God and exists for the purpose of doing the will of God.

1 Corinthians 12:12-27  | Ephesians 1:22-23  | Colossians 1:18

Separation

We believe that the Scriptures teach us that we should maintain doctrinal and ecclesiastical separation from apostasy, worldliness, and disorderly brethren, and that we are to live soberly, righteously, and godly in this world.

Acts 20:20, 27  | 2 Corinthians 6:14-7:1  | 2 Thessalonians 3:6  |

2 Thessalonians 14-15  | 2 John 9-11  | Titus 2:11-13  | Romans 1:1
